Procedure

The surgeon will then access the fat, muscle, and skin of the eyelid.
If excess fat is present, the surgeon will remove it.
If excess skin is present, the surgeon will remove it.
If excess muscle is present, the surgeon may remove it.
The incision will then be closed with stitches or staples.
